I live on the shores of the Chesapeake but I have never owned a CBR. Most of the ones around here are the darker, chestnut color but I have seen several dead grass as well. Good luck with your new hunting buddy !

I suggest buying some Judo points and talk your bow on a walk, shoot some soft decayed stump or pine cones, shoot close shots and stretch them out to learn your arrows trajectory. Minor mistakes are magnified at distance and it can tell you some things about your shot.
