Good question about the age. I am not sure to be honest. I will hazard a guess of 5-15 years :) I picked it up used maybe 3 years ago. The older models with aluminum tube have a different symbol on the eyepiece. About new turrets. The s&b website says the klassik series can be fit with a BDC...- tacotim

This is a schmidt & bender 6x42 30mm A8, made in hungary. It comes with an s&b box and papers. As you see in the pics, it does have some rubs and a couple nicks on the scope body.
