    Weather Station ideas?

I’ve used 3 or 4 brands. Only seem to last 2 years max. Lacrosse has been the most reliable and easiest to set up to view remotely.

    12v/Truck Fridge and Freezer

I have a Bougerv brand unit. 12v and 120v plugs come with it. Optional battery but I use a 1200whr power station. It runs a couple days on the power station without any issue. You could get a 48qt and the power station for roughly $600 total. Jupitek power station comes with a 120w solar...

Wireless Ethernet 'Bridge' - anyone with experiences?

I used a ULNA brand off amazon. Not going quite that distance, but closer to .5 mile. Worked great. Instructions are a little crappy so I used instructions from other reviews. Not sure what kind of speed you need or expect though. Probably won't be great.

Tikka T3X Superlite Muzzle Break and Suppressors

Thanks for the update. This was the first thread that got me a little worried about cutting back.

    Epoxy painting garage floor

Don't extend out if it's real epoxy as the sun will turn it yellow. Or if that doesn't bother you then it's fine. A poly product shouldn't yellow though.

    C-PAP for back country hunt

You are losing the conversion twice through an inverter also. 12v machine to 110 inverter on the plug. Then back to 12v with the Car battery inverter. See if the unit is 12v and if the manufacturer makes a 12v direct plug. Usually $34-50.

    C-PAP for back country hunt

The wattage varies during use. So the average should be lower. Pretty much any CPAP works fine. The energy use will be higher with higher pressures, humidifier, and converting 12v to 120v. That same CPAP might only use 25-30w/hr.

    Whole house Water Softener Systems

I didn't have issues with showering in hard water, until I got used to soft water. Now I can't go back! I really haven't seen hard evidence on the water conditioners (salt free) actually working. I guess the main bonus would be making your appliances last longer and no buildup on sinks...

    C-PAP for back country hunt

Most CPAP are 12v with a inverter on the plug for 110v. You should be able to get a 12v cord for your specific unit to avoid any extra loss. Cheapest $ per watt hour I have come across is the Jupitek s1200. $300 for 1250watt hours (might get a solar panel for free also when purchasing)...

Tikka T3X Superlite Muzzle Break and Suppressors

Did you try without the brake? Or with a suppressor? Thanks for the info on the fluting. I honestly don’t care about the looks, just don’t want any more length than I have to.

Tikka T3X Superlite Muzzle Break and Suppressors

Has anybody cut back past the factory fluting? Or should I stop just before? This is a 7mm mag. I would like to drop it to 18”…I don’t really want to swap barrels on this gun.

    Diesel heater for wall tent?

Some people buy a cheap hose extension off Amazon and it gives off a smell. If it’s running correctly no smell after a break in period.

    Diesel heater for wall tent?

If you put the heater outside, the only noise you would hear is the fan moving the air and possibly some clicking from the pump. You can make the pump nearly silent with some work. Those 2000w generators are quiet but not this quiet

    Desperately need help (corn tortillas)

At one point Costco had both uncooked flour and uncooked corn tortillas. They still have the flour ones here. Sprouts may carry the corn ones. Much better than precooked and warmed.
