I understand if no one reply's but thought I would ask. I have a general tag and plan on hunting unit 12 if anyone has any advice, haven't made up my mind to go for gun or bow but leaning rifle as I can only make one trip this year. probably wont pack in but camp near a trail-head or even a... -

couple rookie questions
Thanks for all the input guys! i can tell you that gear research and hunt planning has already got me pretty addicted/pumped, alot different than planning a whitetail hunt around a few different hundred acre farms. I'm taking my video cam. and digiscope setup (thanks again!) so hopefully... -

my buddy and I are going on our first elk hunt, backpacking in for 7 days in Colorado unit 7/ Rawah wilderness. through this site and the western AT forum and calling CO parks/fish and game i have probably spent 100's of hours taking notes, so that we can survive and give our selves the best... -

anyone know a good website to monitor how far this is spreading? cant seem to find a good map, I'm hunting unit 7 for my first ever archery hunt and it seems like its getting awfully close. thanks! -

Small Diameter arrow shafts.
i have shot axis for a couple years and liked them, trying the VAPs this year, im pulling around 80lbs and it seems like i can get a better FOC on a stiffer shaft with them, also they make a stainless steel outsert, i think its around 90grains. -
