Put in my applications for Colorado today but will wait until the first of May for my Wyoming antelope application as that would be the sensible thing to do.
Thanks for the advice.
Ok, never hunted in wyoming before, figured since you could apply, those were the dates, odd that the seasons aren't set but you can apply on them. I hunt Colorado every other year, when applications open I put in for my hunt, figured wyoming was similar, guess not. I will wait until April to...
I asked the Wyoming game and fish agent if there were specific areas I can or can't hunt due to the type 1/2 and he said no, the only difference was start date. I will research that a little more to be sure but he seemed knowledgeable of the unit. Told me that there are different game plans for...
Well, I believe I will try my luck at antelope hunting this year in Wyoming and for the unit I'm looking at a type 1 license is for a hunt starting September 25 and the type 2 is for a hunt starting October 5, both end October 31st.
The October 5 hunt would fit my vacation schedule better but...
In regards to wolves, is there an easy way to tell the difference between a coyote and a wolf at night with a thermal?
I travel to CO at least a couple times a year, when I'm there a night hunt coyotes in remote areas and with wolves being introduced I wonder about accidently calling one in...
I bought enough Eldm bullets for my creedmoor and prc to last a lifetime, unless the government is going to pay me to swap them to copper I will continue to us them.
Scope is a 100 yard zero, will dial to 225 yards or 2 moa when walking around, should be good to 325 yards with this. Otherwise I will dial if over 325 yards or of I'm in a static spot then I will range and dial for the range at which the animal appears.
For sale is a Accuracy International 308 magazine 5 round ACIS that was used for a short time in a KRG stock.

I'm having a Tikka T3X lite 6.5 cut down right now, was told 22" for 1/2-28 and 16" for 5/8-24.
Told them cut it to 21" and thread 1/2-28 and I will get a YHM qd flash hider 1/2-28 to mount my suppressor on.
The Ares is a couple hundred dollars more than the Helos so hopefully that means better components. So far my Ares BTR has been fine dialing out to 1000 yards and back but this evaluation does not inspire confidence.
I am saving money for a 6.5 creedmoor that will inherit my Ares Gen 2 and I...
I think it would do fine, probably more meat loss though but why not just keep using the creedmoor?
Currently I use a 6.5 Grendel for Whitetail, I used my 6.5 Creedmoor on a bull elk a couple years ago and it did fine, shot at 90 yards and the eldx exploded at that velocity, the elk didn't take...
