Go for DV if you still can. I did when my Tacoma was bumped. Other guy was 100% at fault. His insurance covered all repairs and rental. Had to replace a bed panel, part of bumper, and then paint.
Decided the ding on carfax should get me a DV check (Tacoma's are worth their weight in gold here...
Last Friday I sold my 2018 Tacoma that I had for 6+ years, 50k miles, and an accident and made $5.7k more than I paid for it OTD in 2017.
Picked up a 2024 Tundra platinum the next day for over $8.5k off msrp. No dealer add ons. 2.25% interest rate so financed some of it at that low of rate...
Last gen or current 3rd gen? 3rd gen double cab is 1.5" to 2" smaller in the back than the previous gen. Leg room, hip room, and shoulder. About same for head room.
Check out the Tundra forum. I'll be getting a late 2024 or a 2025. They are starting to really pile up on lots around here and I have been offered $10k off a brand new one. 2022's had wastegate issues, but that was fixed. 22's and early 23's are losing the main bearings around 27k mile average...
I hope that they all are headed north and out of CO. Into a state that will manage them properly. My hunting buddy is a farmer/rancher here in OR. They are pretty close with their realtor on the east side as they have been trying to buy more ranches out there for the past 2-3 years. Their...
The Apple battery life was a deal breaker having to charge it daily. My wife stopped using hers as it kept dying on her if she forgot to charge it overnight. I like to track my sleep so charging overnight was another deal breaker.
I have the Fenix 6 and it’s been plenty for me. I can make it...
A little update as I emailed both SMGA and Weatherby today. I told them both just an FYI I and others had some finish issues on the stock.
SMGA apologized and asked how I would like it handled and Weatherby wants me to send the rifle into them. I am kind of impressed at both of their quick...
Yeah, I agree. They probably should have written somewhere that they are factory blems or something like that. Not a huge deal to me as I don't like the look of the stock anyways, but it would have been nice to know beforehand.
Edit: I also just emailed them on a chain they were responding to...
Definitely not the prettiest stock I’ve seen, but it’s gonna get scuffed up and dirty eventually anyways. Other than some color missing the action/barrel/ etc look good.
Placed the order on 8/22. Emailed today to see if they had an idea of when it would ship. They asked for a copy of the FFL I wanted to send it to. I had already sent this in on 8/22 and confirmed over the phone they had it, but I sent it again. Less than an hour later and I have a tracking...
