Did they make you a custom frame sheet as well, or just use a "regular"? I fit the standard belts, but I am concerned about the frame fit. I have talked to Kifaru twice about it, but also like hearing the customer side of things.
Ooh, following this one. Not quite as big, but darn close. Have yet to find a store pack that gets the shoulder straps wide enough to avoid vectoring the stress into my pectoral muscles.
How was it rigging out a tipi in the BWCA? We are going next year and I figured I would have to buy a freestanding tent just for the trip because of all the exposed/shallow granite.
I received my 1600 today. Except for the battery being installed and one itty bitty trace of a fingerprint on the lens, I would not know this was not a brand-new unit. The body, glass, and packaging are absolutely mint. I see some "demo" binoculars in my future.
Buy with confidence!
I get it, I just don't care about having 10 slightly different versions of the same product just to increase visibility. Do one thing well. Once you accomplish that, do an additional thing well. Repeat.
Probably why I don't own a successful manufacturing company.
I have been very satisfied with my Megahorn, but an ultralight backpackers tent it ain't. I use mine for canoe camping and when I can pull a sledge/have a partner. Although comparatively speaking, the accompanying Gstove positively makes it feel like a feather.
