I've had the Stratus set for years in South Texas. In the teens it worked with layers. Bought Fanatic this last year and wore jeans and long sleeve fleece shirt under in the teens and was warm. If you walk any distance with Fanatic unzip legs and jacket or you will sweat.

I've ran Stratus set here for years here where I live. I will wear it from 50 down to low 30's. Once down below 40 I will wear a base layer. Above 40 usually were pants and a long sleeve shirt underneath and have been comfortable. It makes a difference with the wind block in the material.
Not sure breathable and thorn resistant go together. Here in South Texas brush Carhartt with the pockets on the legs or Duluth fire hose pants have worked pretty good.
We can hunt feeders here. We have them spin out corn right at daylight and about an hour and a half before sunset. Lately I have seen way more deer in the morning then the evening. Even all the pigs we get are coming at night. But it will change. Just have to wait it out.
Same as others. My boy has a Diamond by Bowtech. Very easy to change draw length as they grow. 3 screws on each cam slide the metal plate to change it.
I always liked Nocturnals. We always had issues with Luminocks turning off when they hit. We spent more time looking for those arrows at night hunting rabbits.
I had a tent, air mattress and a few other items that I stored in non climate controlled barn here in Texas for a few years and everything was sticky from the heat when I got it back out for use. Are you sure it was climate controled the whole time? I was able to clean most of it up but still...
