After doing some research it looks like cumulus bags are roughly $150-$300 cheaper than similar bags in western mountaineering, FF, and stone glacier. Can those who have cumulus bags comment on durability and warmth vs the competition? Thanks !!

Anyone have a chance to wear the new hanwag Makra pro gtx? Literally 0 reviews on the internet and hardly any information. I’ve worn Makra combi in the past and loved them but durability sucked so didn’t know if anyone has put miles on these yet.

I heard rumors that when the 2 came out the 1 got substantially slower just like in iPhones. Anybody have any truth to this? Bass pro does have the 1 for a great sale but if I can get longer life out of the 2 I’d rather just pay more

Ran into a trespasser on family land when I was about the same age and I’m still freaked out about it. Something about when you’re that age by yourself and a grown man tries to intimidate you when they’re in the wrong that still hasn’t sat right with me.

Haven’t used it hunting yet but seems a lot less durable than the chugach or m5 but for the price I don’t really care. We’ll see how it holds up in wet scrub oak this year!

Sportsman’s warehouse ran a 50% discount on the Sitka dew point so I grabbed that. If I was going to choose today I would get the chugach

I carry a moraknife companion and havalon. Did two bulls last year and used the moraknife for both held a great edge and it’s super cheap if you put it down and lose it..

Had water get into our base camp last year and completely soaked my duffel bag with my clothes in it. I use trash bags a lot and they do work but looking for more durability, a duffel bag that’s completely waterproof or highly water resistant. Obviously the yeti panga is at the top of the list...
Looking to upgrade my rangefinder after the season but would like to figure it out before everyone drops the sales. It would be for 90% archery hunting, would like to range out to 600-700 yards for when I do rifle hunt and in the $200-$300 price range. Anybody have suggestions for what would...
Not sure if anyone in here has any experience with briarproof bibs but I’ve decided between Dan’s classics and mule comfort tuff. This would be for upland/rabbit/deer drives so active hunting. Didn’t know if anyone in here had any experience with the mules seems like a lot of good reviews for...
