    How do you carry bow while hunting?

    Other than going in and out in the dark, my bow is always in my hand. Dark hiking - its strapped to the pack.

    Based on the amount of movement I do while in the woods, it's always on. I was able to drop it once while rifle hunting, but have yet to get that chance with the bow.

    My experience has always had the drawn out / extended howl from the wolves. I can't rule out a single wolf that was kicked out, but I just didn't hear anything familiar in the soundbite.

    Help Identifying A Howl

    I hear wolves all the time where we hunt (Idaho), and that does not sound like a wolf. It almost sounds like a bark along with the howl. Interesting for sure, but my opinion is not a wolf. Never heard a coywolf, but the yotes I hear have the high pitched chuckle and howl. Is this the YETI?:unsure:

    Kifaru vs exo

    I can comment on the Kifaru, but prior to buying my Exo I did run through many other packs. For me it was the comfort and lack of weight that sold me on the Exo. I never leave the house to practice shooting, or hike without it and it always rides very comfortable.
