Headed out Thursday after work left with wife about 3pm Texas time, drove all night ( 13 and half hrs) and made the trailhead by 3:30 am and started hiking with headlamps. Every body on here said go for the bigger 4x4 in the area I didn't know so I figured I'd look for him through Sunday and... -
Go after him or not?
Sheep are gonna be there till snow from I got from the kid, he didn't speak much English. It pushed all the deer into the drainages. I just don't know if I can find that buck again, he seemed to disappear the next day and never did see him again. Don't know if that 3x3 will be pressured or not... -

What does "DIY" mean to you?
I don't think anybody is knocking somebody for going on a guided hunt or hunting with buddies. I love hunting with friends and family but if you don,t know the area your hunting or have some one whisper in your ear when to draw your bow, your not exactly doing it yourself. What does "DIY" mean to you?
I hate those damn fences Beastmode. Thats what got me hunting DIY to start with. I lived in texas my whole life and never saw a real mountain till i joined the marines. What little bit of "wild" that was left in texas went out the window with high fences, don't do anything but shoot a few does...- whiskey 1

Hey guys, i usually don't start scouting high country hunts in co. till mid july but might have some time off at the end june. Just wondering if thats to early for bucks to be in their summer patterns. Its a 13 hr drive to my unit and don't really have time and money to blow. So any input would...
