    The 30cal is a 26" carbon so I'm screwed there. I do intend to cut the 24" steel down once I have it rechambered.

    After carrying a suppressed rifle with a 24" barrel in some less than favorable terrain, my last build was a 30 cal mag with a brake, with the idea I would not use a suppressor on this specific rifle. I once had to fire one shot without hearing protection... Live and learn. No more brakes for me.

    We recently ridded ourselves of a pile of sh1t 2015 Suburban. We should have gotten rid of it sooner. It was pushing 190k and was breaking something every time we used it. We pretty much replaced everything except the engine. Tried keeping up with body rust but eventually lost that battle too...

    Corn tortillas just taste so much better in MX for some reason. I've even made my own a couple times with Maseca corn flour, and I still don't like them all that much... I've concluded that for me, flour torillas > corn tortillas. I like to toast my flour tortillas over a gas burner on my stove...

    Muzzle brake or not?

    I used to love my braked 300prc. Then about 3 weeks I ago I fired one shot without ear protection. I'll probably flinch with that rifle for the rest of my life. I'm solidly in the camp of shorter barrels + suppressors going forward.

    Pant for Business Casual

    I agree with this. And the Wranglers started pilling almost immediately. In comparison, the EB Guide Pros are a way better quality pant. I wouldn't pay full price for them, though.
