Is this a real organization?
I keep getting emails stating giveaway hunts. First of all they are not a giveaway they are a raffle. 2nd they are selling chances at over 7 X the cost of the hunt. They are making $40,000 to $50,000 profit on a $8,500 hunt. Just wondering others thoughts.
Well done. I sat on the side lines for much of my life. I always found a way to talk myself out setting the date. looking back now I had the money and I will never get that time back.
Way to much to see in Alaska to do it from a boat. It really depends on what you like. A cruse is a relaxing way to see shore line. My family chose to fly there and put over 1,400 miles on a rental car over 9 days. We went non stop the first few days, but had a great time and saw a lot of Alaska.
Slim chance is better than no chance. If you do not enter you know your odds. It is zero. I bet random odds in other states could be better. Best plan is to fork out the money and buy land owner tag. I prefer to hunt on my own vs guided hunt.

Thanks for the post. A totally different world than when I made the drive in mid to late August. The pass would be a big fear for me. I wish it had been light for some photos on the North Slope.
I think this should be locked. That way all the people that depend on others and a quick post to a forum to make decisions on application process would be in the dark. This information is already out there for those willing to do the research. Heck it will affect the draw more that photos of...
