    Brass cleaning !

    Has anyone ever tried bar keepers friend to clean brass? Is it safe for the brass? I cleaned one to try today and it cleaned effortlessly with just a microfibre cloth. I was thinking of adding a bit to the water solution in the rotary tumbler when it arrives.

    I’ve had good luck with the 143 eldx and the 156 Berger factory ammo. I now started to reload and have 156 bergers under 1/2 moa at 100. Out of my tikka 6.5 superlite

    Tikka build 6.5 Creed - short or long mags

    I have a tikka superlite 6.5 with the m+ mag. I can only load the 156 eol at .120” from the lands. That’s at 2.965“ max mag length. I’m going to switch to long action mag And bolt stop And try to get closer to the lands.

    Hey guys and gals! I have a tikka t3x superlite 6.5 creedmoor and I’m shooting the Berger 156 elite hunters. But I’m running out of mag length before I can get the proper Jump. Are people using the long action mag to get away from this problem ? And maybe a long action bolt stop ? Thanks

    Tikka T3X 6.5 CM questions

    I was able to seat 140 ELDMs in my tikka t3x superlite to .02” of the lands but I cant seat the 156 or 140 Berger elite hunters Closer the .120” thinking of trying the 270 mag. Do lots of guys run the medium action mag With no issues ? thanks.

    Berger 6.5 156gr EOL Elite Hunters

    I settled on 48gn re26 in my 6.5 creed. Average 2734 fps 5fps SD in 5 shots. Tikka t3x 22.5 barrel around 2000 ft elevation 2deg c 5 shot group size under 1” I’ll be playing with seating depth a bit to see if i can get better groups.

    Berger 6.5 156gr EOL Elite Hunters

    I’m just playing with the 156 in my tikka superlite 22.5” barrel. With reloader 26 seems to be getting good results. I’m headed out to shoot some groups with a couple different powder charges. I’ll report back.
