A buddy and I are trying to plan a mule deer hunt for 2019 season, we have no idea where to go or what outfitter to use and are open to suggestions. We do have 2 points in Wyoming but were planning on trying to save them. Any ideas or suggestions would be great I accidentally posted this under elk as well sorry.

What kind of hunt are you looking for--terrain, budget, effort, trophy expectations? There's huge variety in mule deer outfitting.

We are wanting to go rifle hunt preferably as for the terrain we are open to anything. We would like to stay back of $6000 for the hunt give or take some.

You could hunt general areas in Idaho and are getting close to some solid outfitter allocated controlled Idaho tags. PM me so I can message you more easily (site quirk) and I'll recommend a few of the best from what I've seen.

I'd save your Wyoming points as you mentioned as you could do well there on your own but you could go special and likely draw a good early season unit that would be productive with an outfitter. Colorado has some easy to draw options but I don't know about no points. They have good deer hunts for sure.

You could look at landowner/ranch tags and would have some decent options though you'd be on the lower end for some areas.

Nelson Outfitters in Sheridan Wyoming. 4500 INCLUDING the license , lodging and food. The best place to deer hunt i have ever been in my entire life of hunting all over the US for Deer. Expert Big Game Outfitters & Guides they dont take many hunters so they may be full. 100% success EVERY year for rifle and very high for archery as well. High quality animals.
