Bought this to compare with several other models. Ended up going with a Kowa 554. I'm spending a lot more for the Kowa, but this little Athlon is perfect if you're looking for a lightweight spotter that's relatively inexpensive. The Cronus is Athlon's higher end glass. Compared it to a Nikon 50ed and it performed better (for my eyes). Weighs 26.4 oz, excellent for backpacking. Both body and glass are in mint condition. Retails for $699.
