Looking for a camera to Digiscope with

I am looking at getting a new camera to start digiscoping through my Razor HD Gen 1, as well as take animal photos. I would also like to be able to take pictures of my camp at night and have the galaxy show up in the sky if possible. What would be a good starting point for this?

I'm interested in this as well. Looking to use a dedicated camera vs a phone along with my Meopta S2 spotter.

I highly recommend you call camera land!!! They guided me into a Sony a6000 for the exact same uses you described and I couldn't be happier. I paired it with a novagrade adapter and it comes with the bushings to fit almost any optic. This camera takes incredible photos and video which I prefer while digiscoping (I then take screen shots to make pictures). I was super impressed with the service I received at camera land and you can't beat their prices.
