I have an Ed ts backcountry cylinder stove, overall I like the stove but I cannot for the life of me figure out the assembly of the damper. Does anyone have any insight? Or maybe a way of contacting Ed T?

The damper is welded in place and the pipe collar has two holes drilled in the middle as if it is meant to hinge in place .....

On my LO stove you squeeze the sides together that don’t have the holes. Insert the long end of the handle into one hole and the short length of wire will squeeze into the opposite hole. Hope that helps.

Yeah exactly insert the long rod first all the way in and the smaller will go in,easy.
Last time i contacted Ed he told me he have sold his metal machines and do not make stove anymore.
