Hello everyone. I’m a Washington native but currently live in Texas. I love being outdoors and am starting to get into hunting. My first purchase is going to be a bow, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome from one FNG to another. The archery section here seems pretty informed. I was a bow only hunter until some health issues have me changing tactics. You will love it.

My advice is to try several different bows

Not sure where in Texas you are located but there are several shops around the state
