Hey all. Colorado native here, uprooting to Wyoming soon. I’m a new hunter, been out with elk tags the past 4 years and so far unsuccessful. Learn a bit more every year though, and enjoy getting out there. It’s been great soaking up the wealth of knowledge on Rokslide.

Welcome! What part of Colorado are you in? Where do you normally hunt here?

I’m in the Denver metro area. Part of my problem with success is having a consistent unit. Been tough to find a consistent hunting partner, but most of my hunts have been south of or east of the Salida area.
