What are your thoughts on the Kung Flu?

Now that it has a hold in S.Korea we should get some accurate info on it. I believe they have mandatory draft/military service and that they stopped conscription. They do not want it to get spread within their military.

    Flatlanders workout

Carrying heavy loads in my Kifaru and hip pain.

Try dropping the shoulder straps down 1.5" and see what happens. Hips tight when your walking not loose and using the incline feature you should be getting mid foot placement and no heel strike. What’s your balance between cardio and heavy weights?

From the article, what it actually says about pack training. We recommend a minimum of four weeks of training, or 16 aerobic workouts in a 4 week period as a minimum number of workouts to complete before adding weight. After that weight should be added gradually. Start light, 10% of body weight...

What’s your balance between cardio and heavy weights?

So much depends on your personal starting point, age also plays a factor along with injuries and deficiencies. Strength training is important, especially as you age and rucking in rough country requires a good aerobic capacity and muscular endurance. I recently have researched the L1-4 based...

    Sleeping Pad Preparedness

Something like a ridgerest to put on top of the pad to protect the part you might put stuff on or sit on until you go to sleep and then put it under the pad. The few leaks I have had were on the top of the pad.
