    A friend has lost the screw and nut from his factory Ruger scope ring. Brownells has them on back order. Any body got a loose set of rings (or screw and nut) in the safe they would sell? I’ve got a boat load of stuff but not one of these.

    My guide suggested I bring vel-cro knee pads, leather gloves and gaiters. I have narrowed the gaiters down and will pick up a pair of gloves after I make sure they fit well. Any recommendations on Vel-cro knee pads? There are a lot of them to see on the web.

    Help me decide. Caliber change on Model 7.

    I have a Model 7 in Remington 260 that I want to change to a caliber that shoots a heavier bullet. I’m thinking KISS and re-barrel to a 308 Win. I will keep the same stock and barrel taper and length of 20”. Thoughts? Barrel brand? I have a gunsmith that will perform the change.
