Yep. Will end up like all the abandoned mines. Private profit, and the public will get to pay for the clean up once all the cash is divvied up. Team America!
I'm in the Market for some new foul weather gear. Had an ancient jacket/pants combo from Cabelas that was water tight and quiet as can be. Lasted 15 years hunting Ohio, Virginia, Northern Maine and the ADK's. Really good stuff but it is finally breaking down. Can't remember the name. Cabelas...
This certainly creates a dilemma for sportsmen. On one side, a party who wants to sell Federal land to the highest bidder. On the other, a party that wants to sell Federal land to the highest bidder.

Pretty obvious way to not let this get out of control. If every hunter who is whining/worried about this shoots on sight, there wont be a wolf problem. In the Upper Midwest, some deer camps have a shoot on sight attitude. Helps the deer herd.
Ohio isn't putting out the big Public Land bucks it used to. Still a few, but nothing like 15 years ago. Way too many you tube wannabes looking for "content". Punch Ohio Public land buck in the search bar and you get a bunch of videos with titles like "OHIO BBD on Public Land" and they are all...
Was just gonna say that. Not sure for 200+ yards though. The places I hunt never present a shot over 100 yds so Ive never shot it at targets that far out.
A real good piece of advise for the DBNF would be to remove your catalytic converter from your truck and stash it in your backpack while hunting. Get a big pack. Then reinstall it at the end of your hunt and you're good to go.
