I think that’s the crazy part. I e-filed in April and was happy I got approved this weekend… the guy behind me e-filed in may and was approved the same day as me.
Thanks for the feedback. If I get too impatient you may hear from me about that Mark 5 you have. Let me know what you think once you have a little more time to handle the Tenmile.
I see that. I compared them on Trijicon's website. Everything seems identical except one version only offers MOA reticles in some sizes and the other version offers MRAD in the same size.
Anyone have any experience with the Trijicon tenmile? It’s a little less $$ than a few of the other scopes I’ve been looking at. Mainly the Mark5HD and Nightforce Nx8. It will be for primarily hunting and then learning how little I know about long range shooting.
Thanks
I had a similar issue but a little higher up on my foot. I went from the 2 eyelets strait to the third eyelets without crossing so the laces wouldn't put pressure on that spot and it fixed the issue. Everything other than that spot was perfect for me.
I think it is a great jacket. It may not be the best at everything, but it is great at a lot. There are better rain jackets, but this is not a rain jacket and will work. There are quieter fleece jackets, but this isn’t fleece and is still quiet. It blocks the wind great and with the pit zips can...
I've only hunted AZ being born and raised here but the hunting opportunities vary. Some units are managed for opportunity, and others for trophy. Opportunity units can look like a zoo and trophy units can potentially take forever to draw. My FIL is at 28 points for Antelope but at this point...
Yea, mine was similar. I’m just not sure there is an insole that can cup the heel, provide arch support, and not raise the heel past where this specific boot pushes on my Achilles. Maybe a different boot that is more strait up and down at the heel would help but I don’t have the disposable...
I actually had a similar issue last year with my Nevadas. I broke them in fine with the regular insole and then wanted to try an aftermarket insole. I wore them around the house and on a few short homes and walks and everything seemed great. About 10-15 miles into my antelope hunt I could barely...
The after market insert I used pushed my heel up to high and the boot didn't fit the same way to the point it was unwearable and hurt my Achilles. I didn't "need" a new insole but wanted to try one for the same reason you posted this question. I think it is worth it to try the boots for a while...
I went the same route. My neighbor has a Traeger and loves it with zero issues, but, i saved a couple hundred bucks and got more features than he did. I also have no regrets. The pizza oven attachment is next on my list. Now, if I could just stop buying briskets, I would be there in no time.
