    WTS Bushnell elite

There is a guy on here that has been looking for a Bushnell elite for a long time. I've never seen someone bump a WTB thread so many times. He is persistent. I will give him that.

Recommendations for stove jack for tent

Bear paw designs is I believe the name of a company thay sells stove jacks for tents. It's bear paw something. I'm not sure if you can glue them to silnylon or not but you could get a sew shop to do it for a few bucks probably.

    DIY game bag material

Yea it washes just fine. It may stain but that's it. @Felix40 was selling some on the side for a while. He can probably tell you what he was using. I've used his bags and ones that I have made. No issues. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

    Career Change Thoughts?

That's great man. Turns out there is a whole world out there and we get pigeon holed and forget about it. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

    Career Change Thoughts?

    Career Change Thoughts?

Read on down to the bottom. I just started a new job that shaved a minimum of 580 hours of commute time off. That's the equivalent of 14.5 40 hour work weeks. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

    Career Change Thoughts?

For 14 years I was treating kidney stones with a non invasive surgical procedure called extra corporeal shockwave lithotripsy. That involved me moving 2,000 pounds of equipment in and out of facilities every day, dealing with facilities, waiting on doctors, lots of wasted time, and constant...

    Career Change Thoughts?

Man yall dug up an old thread! Coincidentally, last week was my first week at my new job. Since I created this thread, my old job just got progressively worse and I grew more and more unhappy. I finally got the nudge I needed when the company approached me and wanted to reduce my bonus...

What Fletching glue are you all using.

I have used loctite super glue for years. I prefer the professional one in the blue bottle. I have never had a single issue with it as long as the bottle hasn't been opened for a long time.

    Why am I always tired?

For the guys talking about sleep apnea. Outside of being fat, i want to say the issue comes from the collapse of the soft tissue, which obstructs your airway and also causes snoring. I think i have heard people on podcasts talking about this being able to be improved/corrected by doing some kind...

    Why am I always tired?

I feel you. 36 years old with 4 kids, 3 of which are 8 or under. I work long hours and an unpredictable schedule and I commute a minimum of 3 hours M-F, and have done so for 8 years. I try to lift and do cardio regularly. We had a garage with bath and laundry room built and I am doing all of the...

    Kuiu kutana vs attack

Attacks are much to warm for most of my wear. Needs to be sub 50 or so for me to consider them. They have a slightly fleece like interior. Kutanas are awesome for me.

Improving Grip Strength - Iron Mind Grippers

Another vote for Deadlifts to improve grip strength. Works like a champ. You can also do dead hangs. Dead hang time capability is one of the metrics that Peter Attia uses to assess fitness level. Farmer carries would work too. I'm no help on the question you actually asked, but I will say that...

    Child carrying packs.

Check out facebook marketplace. High end kid carriers can be picked up for $100 or less if you are patient. I have had a couple of different ones. Kelty and Osprey. None of them have suspension systems that will match a quality hunting frame. The belts are kind of a joke. No load lifters. They...

Calling on my fellow color blind hunters - glassing advice

I do OK picking up animals. I am significantly slower than they guy I hunt with most but we just have different glassing styles and he is just plain faster. Blood trails are a REAL problem for me. I am on hands and knees for a bloodtrail that a normal person can follow at a walking pace.

    Lightweight thermos

GSI microlite 1 liter is what I use. I primarily use it to keep stuff cold but works both ways. I bought it after Aron and Frank talked about it on kifarucast years ago. It is the same shape and size of a nalgene. I wish the bottom corner had some more radius to it so it would easily slip into...

    Adding zippers to clothes

I believe zippers are divided into two categories. Separating and non separating. You would want non separating for your application. You just need to determine the length needed and order a zipper. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
