    True, for me it is that I think the Kifaru blanket will be a lot more solid, stand up to hard use compared to a quilt made for different use/ers.

    Hilleberg Tent

    I have used Hilleberg for some years, one good solo tent from them is the Unna, can fit two if you like, strong, pics fast and easy, strong, not a light weight tent, but will keep you safe. Buy used, sell it after the trip with little or no loss. Just my tip.

    Thanks for the reply. Yes, I am keen on Kifaru, strong gear, not light, but will last longer than a Enlighten equipment. Might for the woobie. What temp do you use the slick bag in? Is it as strong as it looks?

    Kifaru Day Pack for Elk

    As Elkangle ask, are you hauling meat? If so, go for a bigger bag, they all go down to day mode. If not looking for a new bag from Kifaru, I say the AMR is a great pack, down to day mode with ease and at the same time able to haul a lot. What ever bag you go for, do not go to small.

    +1 to AKDoc for Hilleberg Staika. How about the Hilleberg Tarra, Jannu or Keron GT? Hilleberg is strong and heavy, but they do take a beating.
