Block ice, covered, & parked in shade is about the best combo with out a ton of hassle.
I use a lot of frozen gallon milk jugs...works pretty well. Just be careful moving them when frozen, the plastic doesn't hold up great.

I was mixing my own up but could smell it & bought a bottle of Ben's to try. I could not detect any odor from it & for no more than I need in a season, I'm paying the extra $ for it from now on.

I have a Cimarron & very glad I got the stove for when it is below freezing (even just to warm up for a while) & especially when I need to dry out.
The cool thing is, if forecast is good, you don't have to take it.

I kept getting the run around on the LH X2 I ordered every time they missed the shipping date they promised & became rude about it.
I then went with a Tikka T3x & glad I did.

Binos, paperwork/tags in back mesh pocket, inReach in front pocket, lighter/fire starter/knife in left pocket, wind checker in right pocket. Sometimes I shove calls, phone, and/or dope card in top pockets, but usually only for short periods of time.

I've never used a Spot, but between the Inreach & my phone, it gives me everything I need in communication (which seems much better than Spot from what I can tell) & more detailed GPS (better screen & detail than most GPS?) & interface for communication on my phone.

If it is the same screen as the original, then it is worthless. I use my iPhone with their app for any detailed GPS use.

I am a big fan - make my own solution with Martin's 10% diluted down & spray on.
I've yet to see any research that shows any harm for humans when used in this application.

I would be very interested in a review of the Econ line once you've had some time with it.
What degree of quilt did you get?
