Big Stick Assassin 64” about 52 lbs at my 29.5” draw length. Shooting gold tip hunter xt’s at 530 grains total, 100 grain insert and 125 gr Magnus stinger fletched with 3 4” feathers. Will only be hunting whitetail this year. Would like to get a pig hunt in somewhere, but probably won’t happen...
I have a Centergy and a Rival. They are two of my favorite bows I have ever owned. The draw is a little smoother on the Rival, but both are nice and hold and shoot very well. I’ve also owned a few Matthews and several Bowtechs. Haven’t shot my Primes much recently as I’ve mostly went to trad...
You could probably just tape the snare cable to that log and not need the support wire. Part of the animal has to push against the bottom of your loop to pull it closed. The snare lock should close very easily and not slide back the other way. Don’t know how your deer stops are setup but it...
Raise your loop up an inch or so. The main problem is your support wire is WAY too long. It needs to be short and solid so the snare can be pushed against with it moving out of the way. That is heavy wire but at that length it won’t give much support.
Can’t tell what is going on with the lock...
Most shops around here set people up for standard inserts and 100 grain broadheads, which puts total arrow weight in the 350-400 gr range. If you use anything heavier you’re probably going to be too weak. They have a few 340 spine arrows, but 300 and 250’s usually have to be ordered.

I got a pair almost 2 years ago. They are very comfortable. Mine started leaking after about 1 1/2 years. Like I saw somewhere above, the back end of the toe cap is coming loose where it meets the sole on both of them. I think that is where the leaks are coming from too. Have some stitching...
I shoot 3 under and guess I would call it gap or split vision. I anchor and hold longer than most people. I think it comes from 30+ years of shooting a compound. I’ve been working on trying to speed it up a little but still be in control of the process.

I just use a single loop of paracord tied through a cut out in the riser right below the grip on all my compounds. I can’t stand the big braided ones.
