Yup. I will never forget when i bought my first high end multu pin slider sight. Took it home, installed it, drew it back and was like what the heck, this sight is broken, the pins are all uneven. Went back to the shop and the owner and some patrons were like, I have no idea what your talking...
No problems so far with a 26" frame. I pack all of my optics in the lid and strap the bag into day mode. Worst case scenario I take the lid off and throw the bag into a contractor bag wrap it a couple of times with duck tape.
I have had good luck with the half outs, just need to make sure you are all squared up and spin test before you glue up. No issues with bending the SS half outs, arrow will shatter before it bends.
I flew with my 24" Kifaru Reckoning this past season, no problems whats so ever. I just compressed the hell out of it and only had my food and some loose ends in it. No questions asked.

So this has been my dilemma on continuing to fly out on hunts. Do you really get more days out because you saved on driving? It seems to me that you have to have at least 2 days reserved to get the animal to a butcher, have it frozen, ship your gear, and buy coolers so you can bring the meat...
Gaiters are a must if its muddy, it protects your pants from getting wet and gunked up. There were an absolute necessity the week I was hunting in Idaho, I was able to throw them off before I curled up in my bag, it would of otherwise me to force me to remove my pants, which I needed to wear to...
I am picking up the same bow this Saturday with pretty much the same specs.
I plan on shooting the same arrow as I did out of my Z7
