Hi All,
I am selling a Minox ZP5 5-25x56 FFP scope with the very desirable MR4 Mil Reticle. An absolute alpha-tier scope that competes with Tangent Theta, ZCO, etc. White box variant with the updated crisp turrets. Having compared the Minox ZP5 side by side with S&B PM2s, NF ATACRs, etc the...

I would look at the Vortex 4000 for a mono, or the Vortex Fury 5000 for a bino. Great performance, and hard to beat the lifetime warranty coverage on the electronics! Don't think anyone else does that.
They piqued my interest when research showed them as the OEM stock suppliers for a ton of high-end factory rifles: Proof, Seekins, Barrett etc. Always good to hear that user feedback supports their claims.
Difficulty in opening the bolt seems like the action may have poor primary extraction. Difficulty in closing the action may have to do with poor sear engagement with the trigger. To test the former, see how well the rear of the bolt handle rides against the 45 degree 'ramp' on the outside back...
Big fan of the 6.5 loads. Getting 3/8 moa 5 shots, and sd in the low teens. They are also arguably the best deal out there right now for match loads since they use lapua brass: good for reloaders, or for those that want to recoup 50%+ of the cost by selling the brass.
Arguably the gold standard for precision rifle suppressors. Thunderbeast also has fantastic customer service. If you also frequent snipershide, you can usually find 50% and 100% off gift certificates for sale that are redeemable direct from TB.
Really curious how sensitive the parallax and eyebox is on these things. With a 8x erector and ultra short design, methinks some compromises had to be made. Reminds me of the March 3-24x52. Hopeful, but but will wait for user reviews :)
For just the bare rifle, I've found the $2-3k mark to be a good happy medium. Allows you to work off a $1000 custom action, $500 prefit/shouldered barrel, $250 trigger, and between $350-1250 for a custom stock/dbm depending on needs. All of this nowadays could be done without a gunsmith too.
Used a Pig Saddle for a while. Very versatile but also heavy. The twist to lock and unlock was also not as convenient as say a lever design. If you want maximum stability and are willing to tradeoff on weight and cost, hard to beat a RRS dovetail head. If you are willing to compromise a bit and...
Have a set of Feisol 3342 legs. Weighs 2.5 lbs, goes up to standing and has a load capacity of 55lbs. Allows me to mount a 18lb PRS rifle and shoot it standing at range, even with the increased leverage. Highly recommended.
