Thank you. I seem to remember reading somewhere about the length being deliberately long to allow tailoring to the individual. For the price of them this seems like a bit of a stuff around.
The Keb Agile are the ones I have been eyeing off.
I have an R8 .223 barrel and it shoots the 77 TMKs about 1.5 MOA. I haven’t shot them past 200 so can’t comment on whether the stability drop off past that. It is an extremely accurate barrel with the lighter projectiles I’ve tried.
The scopes I have and use for similar purposes are NF SHV 3-10, Trijicon Accupoint 3-9 with the triangle post, and a S&B 6x42. They’ve all work well for me.
I ordered the wind jacket in the sale and after the shipping notice said it was sitting in England for about two weeks I was starting to think it was lost. I emailed Red Kettle about it and received a fairly prompt reply. They continued to chase it up and give me updates. Eventually it turned...
Two pieces of 2”x4” clapped together can make a surprisingly loud clap that I have used in the past as a substitute for early stages of training to gun shot.
I have a vizsla and he is pretty close to what you have said you’re after. In saying that though I believe that it’s probably a case that there are many breeds that if you research you’ll find a breeder that gives you a better chance of a dog with the size and traits you want.
Thanks for getting these tests underway again guys, they’re great.
Form, have you got any experience with older Zeiss scopes? I’ve had a couple of older Victory model scopes for about 10 years and they haven’t let me down. They aren’t dialled.
Top loading isn’t an issue, just takes a little more force to push rounds down then in a more traditional type magazine. I do find it easier to remove the trigger unit to load rounds. I’ve also never tried to remove the magazine insert while the trigger unit is fitted, but I’d guess it’s...
I have an R8 Pro with .223, 30-06, and .375h&h barrels. It is a great system, with everything just working, and it is very accurate. As has been mentioned it isn’t a lite weight, but it’s manageable. Mine has been my primary hunting rifle for 6 or 7 years and it hasn’t let me down.
I’m considering getting a S&B 6x42 Klassic Hungarian with the 1” tube to put on a .243 I use for deer. Shots are 20-300. Form do you have any experience with this model and what are your thoughts on it for this type of hunting?
