    DIY Sawtooth Shelter Pattern?

There is enough info to scrounge up the dimensions, but I thought I would at least ask. I did several searches with different key words, but came up blank. If the info is out there, could you please point me in the right direction. Thanks

    Starter Bow for Teen ?

Christmas is around the corner, and my 16yo Daughter pipes up and says she would like a bow. She is taking an archery class at the local Community College and really likes it. She shoots a Genesis bow from the school, but I don't know what model or draw weight/length. Hopped on ebay, amazon...

    Pack Build-Along, Frame and All

I would avoid Kydex. It will crack eventually and possibly at the worst time. Also, it would be impossible to sew through if needed.

    DEET damage

Not sure what kind of damage you are dealing with, but there is also liquid Electrical Tape. It is pretty tenacious stuff. You would have to paint it on in several layers and take your time, but it might work. The down side is that it does have some type of solvent carrier in it, but I don't...

    New pack build

Wish I had done my zipper like yours. I just did one down the center, and it makes access a bit of a pain. I don't think I'll be tearing it down to fix it though.

    Pictures of DIY packs

If you search for "build along" there should be a couple more threads on packs and frames. Some very talented folks. I was not 100% happy with my build, but it is a ton of work, so I haven't made version 2.

    New Thread Injector

That machine may not have clearance in the bobbin mechanism for 69 thread. Not sure that it was very common thread for home sewers back in the day. If you look at old thread spools, it was usually very light. Try some 46 or 35 and see. The down side to the smaller threads is that they...
