I ordered one for myself as well. Which led me to find out my card number was stolen. :-D Good thing I like new stuff. Otherwise, it might have been a day or two before I found out someone stole my CC/bank account number. (probably at a restaurant. )
Man, the struggle is real when you're 1. tall. 2. can stand to loose a few. Regardless. Despite my belly growing, by chest size has stayed about the same with an extra 100 lbs at 54 in. Every time I see something I really like, it is almost never in my size.
It's hard enough to find nice...
I really appreciate all the good information. It would be nice to get outdoors like I did when I was younger, without worrying I was going to not wake up the next day or more likely not enjoy the day because I didn't sleep. Even though I'm 46, I can sleep pretty much anywhere, but I really...
Take a look at the power supply, it should tell you the max amp draw. From there you could guesstimate using math or just some programs available on the interwebs. Higher pressure obviously would draw more amps. I'm curious to do the set up mentioned. Sounds like he has it dialed in. Maybe...
CPAP.com has some interesting options. The Transcend looks like it would be the way to go IMHO. You can get solar chargers and batteries designed for the system. I think that might be better than a franken system, because you would have the correct amp draws, etc. since it's designed from...
Years ago, before I was diagnosed with sleap apnea, they did an MRI of my nasal passages. Found out I was obstructed on one side, and mostly the other. I regret not getting that surgery when I had cadillac insurance. Now getting reibursed for replacement mask, in and of itself, is a chore.
I...
The power supply for my CPAP is 12v 5 amps. If I had to guess it's probably drawing about 3-5 amps. It really depends on the pressure you run at. Some people need more pressure to keep their airways open, some less. I would guess my 5 amp draw is on the high end since I have severe sleep apnea.
It would be difficult. I have sleep apnea. I "wake up" 42 times an hour without the machine because I am not getting oxygen. It's basically the same stress a marathon runner puts on their body. Having a CPAP makes a world of difference. Imagine that feeling when you're dead tired and can't...
I was born in Nebraska, grew up hunting pheasants and quail (impossible to find once they drop) lived in the Fox Cities for 15 years. Never got a chance to hunt while living there though. :-(
St. Louis County, or Crestwood to be exact. Unfortantly, I think they'd frown upon me walking into Grant's farm. I've seen more wildlife here in the middle of the city than other places I've lived. Foxes, deer, owls, turkeys. lol If I was a wild animal, I'd probably hang out in the middle...
I've been lurking for a minute or two.
I wouldn't consider myself a hunter, in that last time I went hunting was for pheasant with my dad as a teenager. Reason I'm on here, is because I would like to change that status from "not really a hunter" to "killer". Even if I never kill anything...
I have the Primus Lite Plus, and recently added the XL Pot that also uses the same attachment system. It is rather amazing.
This weekend on a little "tactical Glamping" trip with my Sister's family, I busted out the Primus system and made bacon and eggs for 5 people. The non-stick surface...
First-ever Nebraska Bigfoot Conference is this weekend | Nebraska | omaha.com
Has anybody here seen big foot? Or know someone is convinced they have?
I figure the demographic here would be most likely to have stories or non stories about said creature.
Just an update. I ordered and received a Wiggys. Super Light Long Wide Boatfoot. It is big enough for me. Yey! It really doesn't seem that obnoxiously heavy. I haven't tried to compress it yet, but it can't be worse than my 4 piece MSS. What I like about it is the hood lays flat when the...
