    I am looking for any help in identifying these two scopes I recently acquired. Both are 3-9x33mm. One is a Vari-X 3-9x33mm 38005 and the other is VX-II 3-9x33mm 58500 There is very slight difference in size. Just curious what the differences may be between the two. thanks

    I thought of that, but the ice tent does not really have windows perfectly placed to shoot out of. Hence looking for hunting blind that is insulated. I thought someone may know who makes them. Maybe their non existent?

    In -30 temps the insulated blind will make a huge difference. The plan is to use propane heat, the insulation makes it that much more comfortable. I’ve thought of painting the red Eskimo tent, but that’s too greasy!

    I did not know that they double as hammers. Don’t really know anything about the sofa line. I’ve come to learn that you get what you pay for when it comes to scopes.

    Wouldn’t a super lightweight scope be almost to dainty to be on a mountain rifle? the abuse a gun and scope take on a mountain side would make me want a scope that can take it, which generally equates to some weight. A 350 dollar scope to me is one I wouldn’t want on a $3000 gun.
