    First longbow suggestions

    I've had a 64" Old Mountain Mesa for about a year now and like it. It's my first longbow. I pull 40 lbs on it. Last year it took out a 300 lb black bear. I'm trying for a pig now.

    What quiver?

    I'm looking for a hip quiver. Right now I'm using an old quiver off of a compound. I attached straps to it and carry 3 arrows in it. I sling it over my head and one shoulder. It works but I'd like something better. Any input is appreciated.

    Anyone tried bear?

    My first bear was youngish and about 170 lbs. That one was good. My latest heart was a 300 lb+ boar that stunk. Is it common for big boars to stink? It had been eating acorns.

    Broadhead Questions - new to trad

    I shoot a 40 lb longbow with 2 blade Magnus heads. Last month I got a pass through on a 300 lb bear. It was a 15 yard broadside shot so I was able to put it where that would happen.
