I'm sure there will be different opinions on this, and I'd like to hear them. I've got a Kimber Mountain Ascent in 280 Ackley that I've had for nearly a decade. I love this gun--it is a pile driver and shoots great with handloads. I hate to mess with it, but I'm fed up with the earplug scramble...
Hey Roksliders. I'm bringing more fun to the party. The Bureau of Land Management is proposing to make available for utility scale solar development winter range and migration corridors for the Paunsaugunt (Utah) and Kaibab North (Arizona) deer herds (the two herds share their winter range)...

Hey guys- I don't normally post this stuff here, but this is important. On Tuesday, February 6, your voice is needed at a Bureau of Land Management meeting on the Boise State University campus where the BLM will discuss a proposal for utility-scale solar energy development on public lands in...
I had a friend drive down today to check it out and it's a total loss. My caribou was there to get the velvet tanned. Here is a photo from when I dropped it off. Gut wrenching.
I had a really nice caribou in his freezer waiting for the velvet to be preserved. I see the main structure is gone. Sad all around, and I'm wondering if his freezer was in a secondary building. Anyone know?
Used but in new condition VX-5HD 3-15x44 rifle scope with CDS-ZL2. This has the side focus parallax and wind-plex objective.
It's an awesome scope, but I sold the gun I bought it for and no longer need it. Actual weight is 19.5 oz. These sell for $1099. It's yours for $700 shipped.
For sale is my Browning X-Bolt Mountain Pro Tungsten in 6.8 Western with a professionally tuned trigger, Spartan Precision bipod gunsmith adapter, two boxes of handloaded ammunition, RCBS full length die set, Talley one piece scope mounts for a 30mm tube, 100 pieces of brass, and an extra...
Following up here. I just used my new FOB on a five day caribou hunt, packing two big game animals with a pack weight in the 100 pound range. It is an impressive piece of gear and I did not feel any pressure from the straps.
If you are willing to take risks than don't worry about it. I know the species barrier to infection in humans is strong and I'm not worried about getting it myself. But I'd feel like a jerk if the disease finally jumps and it's my family. That's why I test my animals if from areas where CWD has...
Just a reminder to always check the level of an anti cant indicator before you mount it so you don't spend as much time as I did wondering why things were wrong. Stuff like this is so frustrating.
