Savage Ultralite: 28 Nosler project
I like it quite a bit. Weight is good, Profile fits my use perfectly. The only complaint was that the bottom by the mag well had a sharp edge. This was a quick fix. I ordered another for a 338 Brush rifle. -

No idea. Looking at the mag geometry I think there is probably going to continue to be feed issues with 28 Nosler. The shoulder hits one of the crimps in the mag, and causes potential nosedives. I would guess these mags are fairly trouble free with a 338 or even a 300 win mag. Because the... -

Update: I just could not get happy with the eye relief on the Talley rings. So I added a rail and mounted the scope in a set of Seekins I had laying around. Zeroed in another four rounds. Still shooting around a half minute. A couple rounds at 350 Were also excellent. I need the corn to... -

So my 2 mags from Savage showed up. The new ones are marked “7mm mag, 338. The original(that I know works) is marked: “375 Ruger” “300 Win Mag” Everything else appears identical -
