Yes. It is totally useable, if your neck will stretch far enuff to use it as is, without moving it back to a more comfortable position ala cantilever......grin
The Wraith mini comes with a short rail clamp. I bought the cantilever base clamp because the eye relief was too long without it.

Haven't seen that type of chain before, the ones I had were all kinkless. Might be kinda old, as mine were all postwar.
I have a couple Timneys and a Jard on gen 1's, and like them both. Jard makes a straight trigger and Timney don't. Timney was behind the ball on gen II triggers and that is the reason I went Jard.....

Color. The dry cows will be a slightly different tint. A bit 'gray-er/blue-er' than the wet ones. It gets easier to tell by color, if the sun is direct on them. The bulls will look almost white, the cows more tan/brown. Even bull calves are easy to tell from heifer calves, if you can see them...
all you need is an old-school leather belt. When the screaming and fighting starts, break it out and warm some ass with it, you'll then have lots of time to organize how you want.......
