Gieselle AR triggers
Like the others have said, don't expect a bolt gun trigger. Now throw a crap mil-spec trigger back in your AR and tell us your thoughts on the G trigger, I assure you that it's a massive upgrade. -

Last Rifle Build
7SAUM is an amazing caliber but you have to reload, such a shame it never caught on mainstream. I'd go 7 PRC if looking to carry it for the next 15-20 years, that's my next build for western big game. 300 WSM is another good one suggested. -

Swaro NL 8x42 and 12x42?
Why not consider NL12's and the old standby EL 8.5's? The exit pupil on the 8x42 NL's is astounding. This is my tentative plan, except I am running the EL Range TA 10x42 and then the SLC 15's I plan to pick up to spot with. -

15's vs Spotter
I am headed to Colorado for Elk and Mule Deer this year. I have Swaro EL Range TA 10x42's that I'll have in a harness for ranging and quick looks. I could use the 10's for stationary glassing as well but I am not sure I want to force myself into that low of a magnification for glassing hours on... -

308 and Aoudad
I took mine with a 110 TAC-TX out of a 300BLK SBR from 130 yards while taking a crap under my deer blind. Needless to say, I was surprised that it worked, dropped him within 15 yards. You don't think I'd benefit with a slightly bigger pill, say something like a 165 or 168? -

I wouldn't take a shot on an elk with a 6.5 PRC beyond 500, make that 350-ish with a 308. I've decided to keep the 308 and run it as is. Now to pick the right factory load for it. -

I am building one right now with coyotes and whitetail in mind. LMT MARS-L MRP with a Proof Carbon Fiber 18” 6 ARC barrel, JP bolt. I am torn between a NF ATACR 4-16x42 or the Leupold Mk5 2-10. I’ll run a clip-on with it for predator hunts and I think the 2-10 would provide a better FOV, but... -
