The 2017 eclipse happened in August and the most interesting part to me was how much the temperature dropped during it. Obviously that would happen, but it hadn't occurred to me beforehand since I was only focused on how dark it would get.
Cracked my clutch cover when my rear brake lever punched into it after a crash and had some oil coming out. Drained the oil, cleaned it up and applied JB weld and have had zero issues since. That was a couple years ago. Was originally planning on getting a new clutch cover but have no need now.
Respect the ticks but don't be afraid of them and let them keep you out of the woods for an entire season. If you use Sawyer Permethrin and follow the directions on the bottle then you will be completely fine. I have complete confidence in it after using it for a decade. I like to really soak my...
Try delaying your first caffeine intake of the day until 90 to 120 minutes after you wake up. Your afternoon naps might just disappear, mine did. If you can't go straight to 90 minutes just work your way up in 15 minute increments over a week or so. Look up the Huberman Lab podcast episode on...
Probably because a $570 price tag on the website would scare everyone away but by shifting (sneaking) the extra 70 bucks in at shipping you've already got most people committed to purchase. $100 to ship a 5 pound frame setup anywhere in the CONUS is outrageous.
I've never heard of that website before. Does anyone in Oregon actually read articles from this site or is it just the same 100 crazy liberals anytime this guy posts something?
I searched for previous threads on this and came up with nothing. Has anyone put the new Exo K4 Nalgene Holder on a Kifaru Duplex belt? If so, how's the functionality been for you and please post any pics if you can. Thanks in advance.
I see what you're saying, that makes more sense. I don't think anyone is shitting on Tony's review. He thoroughly reviewed the product he was given by the company and that's all he can do, and he posted a very detailed and solid review at that. This whole thread will become it's own giant review...
What would a rock, stick, leg bone or antler do to that frame over time if you're finger nail can do that? I'm not bashing kifaru and I love my duplex lite that I've had since 2018 but this whole thing seems weird to me. Tony clearly put in a lot of time and effort and made a great review here...
I think about that too when I read these threads. The first time I put a 60 pound backpack on and rode a single track trail it was eye opening and pretty nerve racking within the first half mile or less. Not too mention I was more tired when I got to where I was going than if I had just hiked...
