Ive taken 3 elk to Matts Meats and have zero complaints. This past year he stored my meat in his freezer (about 3 months) till a buddy was able to drive it from Jackson to Alabama for me. He also coordinated the euro mount and hung it in this store front till my meat was picked up.
If you want a no frills duffel, check out Mountain Ridge Gear. As I understand it, he use to sew for Kifaru and was the one who made their original duffels. I picked up a large to take on a September elk hunt. Will be great to throw in a saddle pannier.
Grew up in Eufaula, AL and have lived in Auburn, AL since 2004...War Eagle!
Fun Fact: The first time my wife (at the time girl friend) met my family I took her alligator hunting on Lake Eufaula and killed a 13'.
I’ve got the pranas and Eddie Bauer guide pro. I like the pranas better. Pranas quality seems better. The Eddie Bauer guide fleece lined are great for tree stand hunting as well. You can find both on sale on amazon often.
I would work with you on price. Might be to small for what you are looking for though. https://www.rokslide.com/forums/threads/mystery-ranch-popup-28.173790/#post-1729181
