    Hunted goats with BC&Beyond a few years back. Had a great time. Awesome guides and delivered everything promised plus some. dream of going back again someday for moose/caribou. Have a great trip.

    Ultralight solo tent - Durston X-Mid new drop on Massdrop

    Used the xmid 2p elk hunting this year in CO. Really happy with the performance of the tent. Easy to set up, zipper without a fly to get snagged is a remarkably nice feature, very roomy and good airflow.

    Was out at the range today and place is a bit overgrown and crawling with ticks. No surprise to see ticks but quantity was surprising. no less than 30 off my son and me. Couple of which were the lone star tick. Make sure you put on your deet before going.

    Bino harnesses

    Have both the sitka bino bivy and Kuiu pro. Happy with both. Like the closure system of the Kuiu over the zipper on the Sitka. read the post from the rokslide newsletter last week that Sitka has a new design coming out that looks pretty nice.

    What water filtration system are you using? Are you happy with it?

    MSR Guardian here as well. Very easy to pump, good flow rate. Reliable. Like that it back flushes while you pump so no need for maintenance. Only downside is the weight. Considering trying the platypus gravity system this year but trust the guardian so much having a hard time convincing myself...
