Does elk meat make others fart more?

My brother and his wife had the same prob with a deer he shot last year. Is it for steak or only ground? Theirs was ground and I think it might have been the added beef fat that did them in

Guys, I've been invited on a 10 day elk hunt near Salmon, Idaho this coming September. I know the wolves have become a problem in Idaho and I really don't want to spend a whole bunch of money to hunt there if the elk population is extremely low. Does anyone have any recent experience there in...

Pack size

Guys, Is a 4000 cubic inch pack big enough for a 5 day bivy hunt and have enough room to pack out a boned out buck? Thanks, Cope

Kelty coyote 80

I'm interested in the Kelty Falcon now. Have you done any high country hunts with it yet? How do you like the removable top portion? Looks like a nice pack. Does it carry a heavy load better than the Coyote? Is it room enough for a 5-6 day hunt plus a boned out deer? Thanks for the help...

Guys this next fall is going to be my first fall hunting the high country. Anyone have any experience with this pack? it feels very comfortable with a50 pound load and it's in my budget. Thanks for any input.
