    Camo Tikka Stocks

    I'll be purchasing a new SL in the next month or so and was considering one with a camo stock. Are the camo stocks on the Tikka Superlight rifles from Cabela's and Sportsman's Warehouse dipped or what? How durable is the finish? I'd rather buy a black stock if the camo finish isn't durable.

    Scope recommendation

    I was in a similar situation as the OP. I ended up purchasing a Bushnell Elite 4200 (Japanese made) 3-9x40 from Ebay for under $300 and I ran a WTB ad for a Zeiss Conquest MC 3-9x40mm; I scored a NIB Zeiss for $385 shipped. Not bad for two well-made, classic scopes.

    I remember that rifle, thanks for posting the picture. They don't look near as bulky when mounted. I'm surprised they're lower than the Sportsmatch; good to know.
