Help with Swarovski SR Rail Scope

I have a friend that has a Swarovski Z6i scope that he is not using and willing to sell for a good price. The only catch is it uses the Swarovski SR rail system which looks pretty cool but doesn’t use any rings like a traditional scope. I need to buy the mounting piece or pieces that will fit my...

Davis Go Tent Review, By Jordan Budd

Great review. The Go tent concept is great, I love to have my own tent at camp even when I’m with the best of buds it’s just nice to have your own space... the ultimate elk camp in my mind has a bigger wall tent for eating meals and hanging out but small individual tents for each hunter, though...

Davis Wall Tent... Help me get it right the first time.

How long does it take to set up the Davis Go tent? How about the 10x12?

    Davis cook shacks

16x20 is a big tent when it’s just the two of you, it might be hard to find the motivation to set that up when you are just two. You can easily fit four cots in a 16x14 but five will be crowded. Having two tents is nice to seperate the cooking and hangout tent from the sleeping and gear tent...

Davis Wall Tent... Help me get it right the first time.

Thanks @Davis Tent for the advice. It sounds like the 14x16 should really be for truck camping. For a spike camp or just a short duration 2 person camp that needs to be all packed up on a side by side, I should plan on the Go tent or a 10x12. What are the differences in size for these two...

@Beendare what size is your tent? How many people do you sleep in it typically? Where do you get aluminum poles? With the 3/4 floor do you have issues with bugs and critters in the warmer seasons? Do you typically cook inside the tent or outside?

I loved hearing this story. I just went on a November goat hunt and a, getting into archery myself so it really was awesome. Thanks for sharing. What kind of mount do you plan?

    Mountain Goat Taxidermy

Kidd Ross that bedded goat turned out awesome! I actually prefer the mounts where the animal is stationary, they look more realistic. Arctic_Beaver that rug looks amazing! Man there are just too many cool things you can do with a goat!

Davis Wall Tent... Help me get it right the first time.

Hey Guys I've been following this thread and thinking about getting my own wall tent. It would be to support elk and mule deer hunting and occasionally family camping. The only thing I'm unsure of is the size. It will mainly be used to fit 2-4 people. I don't want it too big so that I can't...

Mule Deer hunting while Elk Hunting

Would you rather hunt again the following year in Colorado? Or is this a one and done trip? If your tags are few and far between, I’d probably just focus on elk and come back again to hunt mule deer. If you have lots of hunting opportunities then you should double up your tags.

    Wall tent size

Which is better in your guys’ opinion, one big tent or two smaller tents, one for sleeping and another for cooking and hanging out? I’m leaning towards the latter because you can choose to take a nap or hang out or cook. But I guess the downside is more time setting up and taking down, and also...

    Mountain Goat Taxidermy

Guys I harvested this goat back in November and I just can’t decide what to do with him! So many cool mounts on this thread have given me inspiration. Full body or rug (with skull, horns and hoofs). My bro says a rug is a waste with my long haired November billy but I think they look awesome and...
