Congrats! Been in the woods myself will be doing a review on the gaiters after archery season. So far no issues. Put in 10 miles yesterday and 7 today. Back to the grind tomorrow

I shot a bull real similar to the same scenario I went very slow after an hour I only had go one lung same distance as well with a slick trick I approached real slow and cautiously and ended up getting another arrow in him to finish him. One lung I've seen an elk last a few hours on. Hopefully...
Moved here last year spent tons of time in unit 4 6 7 it goes crazy! All my hard scouting turned out to be a waste of time Sadly. I did however get spike with some stupid luck some other hunters pushed him to me while in unit 4

I can say it was tough but I didn't give my dog any types of toys or anything besides antlers. Taught her by playing fetch with a praise and treat everytime she brought it back. Then moved on to throwing it in places around the yard and letting her go find it. Then I just kept making it harder...

Yes the dog is trained I bought her when she was 8 weeks old and trained her myself. It was tough but she turned into an excellent shed dog. She's a smooth coat border collie.

What would you like to know lol? I don't know it super well yet just moved here last year. It's thick and nasty steep country compared to where I'm use to hunting in central Oregon. Seems like the wolves really like to mess up hunts as well sadly :( haven't been lucky enough to shoot a wolf yet...
