I had a piece sewn into my kuiu to make it fit my prime rival. I think the Velcro on the inside of the cover does more damage (just putting on and taking off hundreds of times) to my strings than not running a cover.

I think I might be the only guy on the planet with this opinion but I love the OG badlands bino harness. I think I wore it and used it so much that using it became second nature to me the only complaint is the hydro sleeve thing on the back doesn’t need to be there. The camo has faded almost...
How important is a pro shop (for an experienced shooter)? When I started archery I spent tons of time at the “local” pro shop especially considering it was 30 minutes away!
I would have them check my tune probably 3 times per year, new strings every year, always upgrading sights, quiver, etc...
My 6 yr. old son pulled my last arrow before I got to the target. After I explained to him what he’d done, he “put it back”.
Just curious if I need to do anything further?
I posted more details under the main thread.

CBC 2023
Same setup for the last 4-5 years, prime rival shooting 100 gn. Wacems at 72.5 yards.
The goal is to keep it inside the vital ring which is a little big for this particular target In my opinion.
The only gear change for this year is the ultraview button release and I got one of these...
I just blew the zipper on my exo 3500 lid (1st gen) for the second time. I’m considering unstitching the lid from the pack and replacing it with a removable lid. I’m curious if anyone has experience doing this and if there are lids that would be easier to attach than others?

2021 CBC.
This year I’m going to shoot at 62 yards. Shooting the same Prime Rival @62 lbs./ 30” draw. Arrows are gold tip pierce platinum with a bohning heat 4 fletch and a Wacem’ 100 gn. 3 blade coming in at 450 grains total arrow weight. New this time I’m shooting a hotshot thumb release. The...
Shooting the first outdoor 3D of the year on the 17th. Hopefully there is still a spot available on the 18th. If not I’ll probably play along side the challenge anyway. I’ll probably reign it into 65 this year as I changed a ton of stuff this year to help with some bad shoulders.

A big group of people are heading out for the rifle deer hunt this weekend. We’re pretty familiar with the area as i had an archery tag in 2014 and have accompanied 2 rifle hunts previous to that. One of the guys going with us is out there once or twice a year. Our concern is with how hot and...
I too have had type 1 for about 12 years. Diagnosed when I was around 23.
I hunt solo in the backcountry often but have never gone more than 3 days at a time.
I’ll admit I don’t do a great job of managing it, but with the technology these days it is far better than it was. Using a Dexcom g6...
