    Mountain Pant / Timberline / De Havilland will all do the trick. Varying levels of durability and noise so take that into consideration. If you are strictly focused on noise I'd say (in order of warmth (Obsidian, Apex, Stratus)

    LL Bean

    Growing up in NE (NH ) to be exact I grew up on LL Bean pac boots. Seems like they get no mention here. Does anyone recognize that LL Bean invented pac boots? Just a thought. I have owned them for years always served me well in the great white northern woods.
