This would echo my take as well.
Large area to pitch is difficult to find.
The floor less is terrible in August, even with a bug net, especially on slope with a lot of thundershowers.
The Tipi is awesome in late season with a stove, where you have fuel, but it's not a necessity.
I switched...

I had been through a dozen cartridges and rifles (kimber, sako, custom 700)
This will be...

CA RIDGELINE Ti, 22inch barrel, brake. 6.5 prc
Id like to top it with a CDS from Leopold for anything further than 300yrds. Be nice to see this rifle in a 20" 308
Unreal rifle
Two packs, myself and a partner with same size pack.
That year we took another ram out on day 13.
No Pack dump photos. We have definitely hunted very minimalist to make weight and volume.

Hey guys
So its time, I squirreled away 2400.00 (US) for new binos, previously using vortex viper 10x42 HD
I have looked at a number of options and narrowed it down to a few, Im aware the cost ranges. Need the opinion of best bang for buck (no pun)
In order of preference so far:
Leica...
If you are bringing a spotter, I would absolutely take the small binos with less weight. Glass grids with the binos fairly quickly at distance and then put the spotter to work.
small light binos are nice when climbing and using all day
