    Photography- one photo a day

Tonight’s sunset @ 10 o’clock. Looks like there’s another tree that I need to cut down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lets see your hunting/daily driver rig (Pics)

Still a work in progress, but given the fact that 90% of my hunts are fly outs, I can’t really call it my hunting vehicle. She does double as a daily driver, but won’t get you there very fast. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Alpine Hiking on Kodiak

IDK why I'm just now seeing this thread, but I agree with this 110%! In fact, I'd rather hike at night and prefer not to use a headlamp, as I don't like to give my location away to the bears. Also the terrain is mostly flat but always seems to be heading slightly down hill no matter which...

Snowpack not looking very good :(

Over 11' for Anchorage this year and we're only 2" away from breaking the all time record, so I'm kind of over it. That said, I would like to see the record broke though. :) Our ski resort down in Girdwood has received over 61' so far this season, and although it's not even close to their...

    Braggin Board for Fishing!

Nothing special here, I just thought the hills behind the house looked pretty with the sunlight shining on them today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Is he too young?

Absolutely put in for him! You should start as early as you can in my opinion. I’ve been putting my son in for tags since he was 10 years old and he’s been very lucky over the years. Here are a few pictures from a few of the draw tags he's scored in his early years. Sent from my iPhone...

He’ll, in a pinch, even a .454 Casull will work. [emoji16] Edit: These were taken using .454 birdshot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You really know your feng shui, and I couldn't agree more. :ROFLMAO:

    Chamois Rug mount

I had intentions to sew a microfleece material to the back, but quickly determined that my seamstress skills are not up to par, and I didn't want to put anymore $$ into them to have them professionally done. Even with the leather back they're still pretty comfortable anyway, and we just keep...

    Chamois Rug mount

Thank you. I take all my stuff to Mike Fraser (Fur and Feather Taxidermy), on the hillside in south Anchorage, and I believe he sends all his hides down to either Minnesota or California to be tanned.

    Chamois Rug mount

I've only done one mountain goat rug, but I've had several hides tanned and then just used for throws.
